HGOR collaborated with the City of Atlanta to transform a former quarry into a large-scale civic park that serves both community and critical infrastructure needs. Through comprehensive master planning, community engagement, and phased implementation, the design balances accessibility, programming flexibility, and environmental performance. The result is a resilient public landscape that supports recreation, strengthens neighborhoods, and delivers long-term value as both a civic asset and essential water resource.

Planned as a destination for storytellers, creatives, and innovators, Town at Trilith is a mixed-use community designed to support a dynamic and connected urban lifestyle. HGOR supported masterplanning efforts and led the design of the public realm, shaping a pedestrian-first environment that unites residential, commercial, and cultural life. Through a network of plazas, parks, trails, and thoughtfully designed streetscapes, the project establishes a flexible framework for daily activity and large-scale events alike. Anchored by a vibrant town center, Trilith’s public spaces serve as an adaptable canvas for artistic expression, social interaction, and community-driven programming—reinforcing the identity of the development as a place where creativity and everyday life intersect.

HGOR led the landscape architecture design for 675 West Peachtree, reimagining a 40,000-square-foot plaza at the base of a legacy Midtown tower into a vibrant, multi-functional urban destination. Originally defined by harsh hardscape and limited usability, the space remained underutilized for more than three decades. The redesign transforms the plaza into a transit-oriented environment that supports retail, dining, events, and everyday workplace activity, creating a new value proposition for both the public realm and the 1.4 million-square-foot office complex it serves.
