We are seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team in our Atlanta office. This role is ideal for someone who is digitally savvy and energized by storytelling, brand building, and real-time engagement. While traditional marketing support is part of the position, the primary focus of this role is leading HGOR’s social media presence and helping to amplify our voice across platforms.
This position works closely with the Marketing Manager to execute content strategies, manage HGOR’s social channels, and support firmwide marketing initiatives. It requires strong writing and communication skills, an eye for design, and an understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and engagement strategies.
This is an entry-level position (0-2 years of experience), ideally suited for someone interested in blending digital marketing, content creation, and brand strategy within the A/E/C industry. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and basic content creation tools is strongly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Maintaining Digital Presence
- Manage HGOR’s social media platforms (LinkedIn & Instagram), including planning, scheduling, creating, and publishing content.
- Monitor platforms daily for opportunities to repost and engage with client and partner content, re-share relevant project-related posts, highlight partner/client successes and milestones, capture testimonials and user-generated content.
- Stay current on social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes to continuously improve performance and engagement.
- Track and report on social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
- Support Principals and BD team members in maintaining active LinkedIn presences. This may include assistance with drafting, editing, and scheduling short-form posts for personal accounts to support digital relationships while maintaining alignment with HGOR’s brand.
Marketing & Administrative Support
- Assist with graphic production of pursuit materials (resumes, project sheets, proposals, presentations) using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support updates to the firm’s website and maintenance of internal marketing library.
- Provide basic administrative and office management support, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other design programs.
- Strong writing, formatting, editing, proofreading and clerical skills.
- Strong graphic production skills with an eye for layout, branding, and consistency.
- Ability to organize and self-manage responsibilities.
- Familiarity with the A/E/C industry is a plus but not required.
