With direct access off of Georgia 400, Northwinds sought to distinguish itself by providing a mixed-use development with an authentic urban feel. The existing masterplan was a typical office park layout with inefficiencies pushed to the perimeter of the site.
HGOR looked at these leftover spaces at the periphery and re-captured them. With a few nudges here and there of the buildings and parking lots, the main street began to take on a dynamic frontage that included restaurants with outdoor dining areas, shops, office buildings with courtyards and a large central large park with a mid-rise apartment building. With these changes Northwinds insinuates itself into the urban fabric and becomes a vibrant and energetic place to live, work, and play.
