Life University Amphitheater & Socrates Café

Implementation of Life University’s master plan centered on changing the image from a “arrive and leave” commuter campus to a more complex academic environment. HGOR designed two critical outdoor spaces to achieve this goal. These included outdoor dining and gathering spaces associated with a new on-campus café and the removal of surface parking to create the first phase of the central quad including a 1,200 seat amphitheater. The immediate results are increased student pride, activities and recruitment.
