College Town

HGOR was retained to illustrate how academic and economic interests could collaborate to define a unique opportunity for growth and cooperation. Life University, Southern Polytechnic State University and the Marietta Redevelopment Cooperation are each focused on growth and redevelopment in and around the two campus’. HGOR was asked to illustrate how each institution’s needs and goals could enhance the other’s. The concept of “College Town” is a place where government, business and academia are combined in a way in which to share ideas, jobs, develop sustainable systems and research.

College Town becomes the catalyst providing a unique place to serve the needs of both institutions and a bridge to the larger research park and economic redevelopment goals.
